NEW ARRIVALS!

Got some great new stock in the distro including the latest Dry Heaves releases i've got their debut LP on limited red vinyl, the self released 'Monotony 7" and a couple of copies of the Gi'ore 7" on Adult Crash that was limited to only 100 copies!!! Some great fan club re-issues of 80's classics in the form of Saccharine Trust's Paganicons LP and the Sado Nation 7", recent ragers from two the UKs best hardcore bands - DiE and No, which although are small in name, are big on quality. Also got both 12"s by Perspex Flesh which is probably my favourite hc band along with Mob Rules for the last few years. I have some of the limited clear vinyl versions of their most recent 'Ordered Image"LP

RECENT ARRIVALS - EAGULLS, NEMESIS, GASMASK TERROR & CRUCIAL SECTION

Some new vinyl from local boys Eagulls, French crust types Gasmask Terror and Japanese thrashers Crucial Section and Nemesis. The Nemesis 7" is the best Japanese hardcore record i've heard for a while, i can't recommend it highly enough - it's up there with the best releases from labels like Selfish and Bloodsucker! The Gasmask Terror 7" is on lovely gold vinyl incase you collectors were wondering….
Eagulls seem to be getting some attention at the moment, only fair as they have definitely found their sound and really nailed it with this LP - better than 95% of the crappy indie out there at the moment. Definitely feeling this LP - it's getting repeated plays at Zandor HQ at the moment.

DRY HEAVES 7" REVIEWS

DRY HEAVES - "Medicated Youth" EP
Holy shit this is good. DRY HEAVES remind me a lot fellow countrymen from the now defunct SHITTY LIMITS. Playing a fast old hardcore punk sound with odes to MINOR THREAT and the ADOLESCENTS, yet still keeping in a modern DIY feel, DRY HEAVES deliver one great 7". All the classic subjects are tackled here: people who talk too much; kids being drugged by their parents so they are normal; and the song "Graft"is the classic ode to not wanting to a get a regular job like society tells ya. Oh yeah, this record rocks. (JF)

DRY HEAVES: Medicated Youth: 7” This record fucking rules. Simple riffs, fast beats, clean vocals… but all played at a frantic beat and with a really crisp recording. I hear old U.K. melodies in the vocals, old American hardcore in the guitar, and rock’n’roll in the drums. This is punk rock by weirdo British kids who drink 40s and skateboard and just want to play shitty tours for no money in other people’s basements. The product is simple, but so organic and unpretentious that it’s hard to even describe the sound. It’s like early Black Flag mixed with the Buzzcocks with a dose of modern party thrash thrown in because they don’t care what you think. Buy this if you think all the early Fucked Up singles were overrated and you still have fun getting drunk at Municipal Waste shows. –Ian Wise

LATEST RELEASE

Out now on Zandor records
Zan 12 : Dry Heaves "Medicated Youth" 7"
Follow up to their self released demo tape and "Loose Tongues" 7" this band from Sheffield, Yorkshire is getting better all the time and i think this release captures the feeling of their brilliant live performances a little more. I can always hear elements of Germs, Angry Samoans and Black Flag in their sound. Other people have compared them to Adolescents and Descendents, anyway you get the idea - killer, catchy, hardcore punk! My personal favourite track is "Graft" it's about working to live not living to work.
Keeping the same aesthetic as the first record with the Pogger artwork this one is 5 tracks recorded by Atko (Voorhees, The Horror, Gentlemens Pistols) and mastered by Daniel Husayn (Red Dons, Thee Spivs) limited to 300 copies on green vinyl.
